The Takumi Tackle Daija Worm (Sinking) is a full-bodied, oversized curl-tail worm built to attract attention and deliver a substantial meal. Available in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes, the Daija features a fatter-than-average body that creates a larger profile, increased water displacement and plenty of room for secure hook placement.
Deep ribs run across most of the body, adding texture and vibration while allowing the worm to flex naturally. A smooth reinforced center section provides additional material for rigging and helps hold the hook firmly in place. Behind the body, a broad curl tail sweeps through the water with a wide, fluid action that activates during the fall, retrieve and even subtle movements along the bottom.
Every Daija Worm features a two-tone color combination enhanced with reflective flakes. The contrasting colors change appearance as the worm rolls, falls and moves through different light conditions, while the embedded flakes add intermittent flashes that can help fish locate the bait in clear, stained or deep water.
Rig the Daija Texas-style for probing vegetation, brush and laydowns, drag it across offshore structure on a Carolina rig, fish it weightless for a slow natural fall or pair it with a swing head for continuous bottom-contact action. Choose the 8-inch version for a large but versatile presentation, or step up to the 10-inch Daija when targeting bigger fish with maximum profile and water displacement.
