The SPRO McStick 110+1 is a deep-diving suspending jerkbait that reaches 9 to 12 feet deep. Designed by BASS Elite Pro Mike McClelland, it features a longer bill and a bulky body. This allows it to hold a nose-down position while suspended, which triggers aggressive head-first strikes.

How it Works

A jerkbait is a long, slender fishing lure designed to mimic a wounded, dying baitfish. You fish it using a twitch-and-pause motion to make the lure dart around erratically, then sit completely still.

Unlike its predecessor (the shallow-running McStick 110), the 110+1 utilizes a deeper lip that gets the bait right into the strike zone for fish holding deeper in the water column. The "suspending" feature means the lure stays at a fixed depth rather than floating up or sinking on the pause, which gives lethargic fish time to strike.

Best Uses

Because of its bulky body and hard sonar return, it is a favorite lure among anglers using Forward-Facing Sonar (like LiveScope). You can retrieve it like a crankbait or rip it like a jerkbait, making it incredibly versatile for both bass and walleye year-round
