Nories Flip Gill, 5" Soft Plastic

The Nories Flip Gill is a wide, flat-bodied soft plastic designed to imitate the profile and unpredictable movement of a bluegill. Its broad body and carefully shaped twin curly tails create a natural splash on entry, followed by an erratic sliding and wide-spiraling fall that can trigger aggressive strikes from bass holding around suspended bluegill.

When fished weightless, the short side-mounted tails resist excessive movement and help produce the bait’s distinctive gliding fall. Add a sinker, and the same tails come alive with a flashing swimming action as the bait moves through the water. The result is a versatile bluegill imitation that can be flipped into cover, worked through the middle of the water column or presented along the bottom.

The Flip Gill excels on a Texas rig around docks, grass, brush and flooded cover. It can also be used on a heavy drop shot, as a jig or bladed-jig trailer, or rigged weightless when a slower, more natural fall is needed.
