The Core Tackle Tush (The Ultimate Swimbait Hook) is an internally weighted swimbait hook designed with lead poured around the hook shank to conceal the weight inside the soft plastic body.
Key Features and Action
Belly Roll Action: Shifting the center of gravity inside the bait creates an enhanced side-to-side body roll during the retrieve and a natural glide when paused.
Bait Retention: A stacked cone design locks the soft plastic firmly in place, extending the life of each bait.
Compact Profile: Hiding the weight inside streamlines the bait, helping it cast farther and skip easily under overhanging cover.
Snag Resistance: Distributing weight throughout the body rather than upfront lets the rig ride close to the bottom, deflect off rocks, and clear snags easily.
Rigging Options
Nose Rig: Positioned for faster retrieves and strong deflection over hard cover.
Top Rig: Positioned for the slowest, most natural horizontal fall.
Apex Rig: A versatile middle-ground option providing a slow wobbling retrieve and a natural fall in light vegetation.
