The Core Tackle Scamper Rig is a specialized weighted hook designed in collaboration with MLF champion angler Matt Becker to give soft plastic jerkbaits a unique, vibrating crankbait-like action.
Key Features & Design
- Vibrating Action: Features a flat line tie and a weighted shank that causes fluke-style soft jerkbaits to wobble and vibrate aggressively on a fast retrieve or pull.
- Hook Quality: Built on a razor-sharp Trokar TK137 hook for high hook-up ratios.
- Secure Bait Hold: Includes flanged/ribbed segments on the weighted shank to hold soft plastic baits firmly in place cast after cast.
- Versatility: Allows anglers to fish soft jerkbaits faster and deeper without rolling, making it ideal for forward-facing sonar, schooling fish, or fishing around docks and shallow banks
