The 6th Sense Flock Hair Jig is a hand-tied, multi-material baitfish jig designed in collaboration with trophy angler Josh Jones. Engineered to trick highly pressured, clear-water, and suspended fish, it combines bucktail hair, delicate feathers, silicone strands, and holographic tinsel for a unique, lifelike breathing action.
Key Design Features
Multi-Material Skirt: Features a premium blend of bucktail hair (a dense tail hair from a deer), feathers, and thin tinsel. This mix expands and pulses underwater.
3D Head: Uses a specialized 3D head profile for a natural, streamlined fall and stable tracking as it moves through the water.
Robust Hook: Built with a heavy-duty, razor-sharp hook (often a 6/0) designed to handle giant bass without bending out.
Sizing: Typically available in a variety of weights to help you target different water depths.
How to Fish It
This jig is highly effective for offshore ledges, deep structure, and snapping through schools of suspended fish. Anglers often use one of two primary methods:
The Yo-Yo Retrieve: Cast it out, let it sink, hold your rod up, and reel it in several times before letting it fall back down.
The Slow Swim: Retrieve it very slowly, similar to a swimbait, to maximize the natural, flowing movement of the multi-material skirt
